We are looking for a Sales Support & EDI Analyst interested in starting a SWEET career as part of our Customer Solutions team at PIM’s Headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey.
The Analyst will provide analytics and tools to support the Customer Collaboration and EDI teams. This is a hybrid analytical role within the customer service environment that creates a profile for Grocery, Mass, Convenience, Club and Value channels and provides scorecards and KPI data to make the order management process visible and efficient. The Analyst is responsible for departmental support for EDI within the SAP environment. In conjunction, they will support the program maintenance standardization playbook for sustainable methods of the organization to create a rigor in the team’s order management processes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducts interviews with Sales Team Members to develop customer profiles.
- Collects and organizes information from various sources.
- Uses root cause analysis and statistical methodologies along with available data sources to identify problems, present solutions and bring resolution.
- Advises Sales Managers on the findings and the various courses they can take to address the problems.
- Explores and develops Standard Scorecards and Standard Operating Procedures to support implementation and influences best practice sharing.
- Works cross functionally with the Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, IT, and Logistics Teams to enhance Customer Collaboration Team effectiveness.
- Provide leadership and support IT in EDI setup and maintenance of EDI systems, processes, documents, and partnership including documenting tracking, and reporting of operational metrics.
- Monitor and analyze SAP IDOCs to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Review SAP segments for different EDI maps and work with EDI partner for IDOCs and x12 segment mapping as per Trading partners mapping specifications.
- Setup FTP mailbox or other communication protocol as required.
- Work with carriers to implement EDI required documents and processes.
- Troubleshoot EDI issues with trading partners and Account Managers to determine, solve, and document solutions for expedited problem resolution.
- Back up EDI associates when needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management , Business, or related field
- An understanding of SAP
- Experience in customer service.
- 2 years of EDI experience
- General understanding of the business tools and terminology within the consumer products industry.
- Strong process improvement knowledge and skills.
- Data analysis and critical thinking, problem solving skills.
- Strong follow up skills, understand that when a task is handed off, it is not forgotten.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Intellectual and analytical horsepower with ability to apply problem solving techniques and take on business challenges.

- Professional level working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel (Excel including pivot tables, complex formulas, macros), PowerPoint and Outlook.
- This role is required to report to the Company’s Park Ridge New Jersey Headquarters five (5) days per week.

- The PIM Brands Global Headquarters are in Park Ridge, NJ.
- The role requires working on-site: Monday through Thursday; Work from Home Fridays.
Travel:
- Estimated <10-15%; to manufacturing locations, trade shows, retailer/broker/customer business reviews, etc.
