The Senior
Healthcare Financial Analyst role is primarily to support the Director of Finance
and CFO regarding reporting and budgeting Revenue Cycle results for the Clinic.
This individual will be reconciling the information from the Business Office
and the information from the Operations team to understand what is happening
and recommend options for improvement. Support the Operations teams and other department
heads in developing both operational and capital budgets and working with them
to improve their processes. Also, the Healthcare Business Analyst will assist
in developing financial and strategic plans for the organization and work to
develop possible solutions to improve income and manage expenses. 1.

Helps to formulate long term financial and strategic

Works with department heads to build their
annual budgets and forecasts. 4.
Reviews and prepares journal entries and
facilitates other accounting functions as needed. 5.
Acquires data from primary and secondary
sources and maintain data bases / data systems. 6.
Analyzes financial and operational results to
better understand company performance. 7.
Utilizes BI tools to deliver meaningful
insights into business performance. 8.
Provides detailed analysis and commentary on
departmental results. 9.
Prepares business cases to support new
investment, strategic and other business decisions. 10.
Reviews existing processes and procedures to
develop recommendations for improvement efforts. 11.
Evaluates previous budgets, expenditures to
develop and implement future budgets. 12.
Communicates results and recommendations for

Supports data collection, analysis, and

High school diploma or equivalent required. 2.
A combination of education
and experience are required: a.
Bachelor’s degree and minimum three - five (3-5) years’
experience in business administration, finance, accounting, healthcare analyst
role with complex financial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics. or b.
Master of
Business Administration degree and two - four (2-4) years’ experience in business
administration, finance, accounting, healthcare analyst role with complex
financial modeling, forecasting, and data analytics. 1.
Experience with analytical modeling and
accounting. 2.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards,
and techniques, as well as calculating budgets, cost analysis and reduction 3.
Significant analytical skillset, including the
utilization of BI and reporting tools. 4.
Ability to solve complex problems and exhibits
critical thinking. 5.
Excellent communication skills with ability to
build relationships, be flexible and thrive in a team environment. 6.
Ability to communicate with all levels of
management and providers required. 7.
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding, RVU’s and
contract analysis 8.
Advanced computer software skills, including
writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages considered a plus. 9.
