Summary /Objective

As an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of EDI processes and systems. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure seamless electronic data exchange and compliance with EDI standards.

Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Coordinate the implementation of EDI systems and processes, including mapping, testing, and validation of electronic data transactions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for EDI-related inquiries, issues, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, sales, operations, and customer service teams, to gather requirements and define EDI integration needs.
• Liaise with external partners, customers, and vendors to establish EDI connections, exchange agreements, and communication protocols.
• Monitor EDI transactions, system performance, and data integrity to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform regular audits and reconciliations of EDI data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Develop and maintain EDI documentation, including implementation guides, trading partner specifications, and process workflows.
• Stay informed about EDI standards, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and optimize processes.
• Provide training and support to internal teams and external partners on EDI processes, tools, and systems.
• Participate in EDI-related projects, upgrades, and enhancements to improve system functionality and efficiency.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Proficiency in data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, databases, and SQL querying is a plus.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and industry-specific EDI requirements is desirable.
• Certifications in EDI or related technologies are advantageous.

Education and Experience:

• 2 years of EDI Experience required.
• Proven experience in EDI coordination, implementation, or support.
• Strong understanding of EDI concepts, standards, and protocols (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
• Experience with EDI software, translation tools, and integration platforms. Experience with IBM iSeries and Trusted Link desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
