Healthcare EDI Analyst provides technical support during and after implementation for electronic data interchange applications used in healthcare settings. Responds to inquiries from vendors, payors, and providers regarding EDI issues with enrollment, claims, payments, and clearinghouse activities. Being a Healthcare EDI Analyst troubleshoots problems and deploys solutions to resolve issues. Conducts root cause analysis to prevent future problems and to suggest improvements. Additionally, Healthcare EDI Analyst may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Healthcare EDI Analyst work is closely managed.     Job Summary
    • As a Healthcare Informaticist (HCI), you will provide informatics guidance and act as a liaison between the clinical and IT departments, leveraging both health care and informatics knowledge to provide innovative solutions. The Healthcare Informaticist role will collaborate with clinicians, providers, and ancillary departments in analyzing clinical requirements specific to the organization. The HCI should be knowledgeable in clinical documentation needs, regulations, and standard operating procedures essential in the EHR,  Participate in testing and validating solutions and clinical documentation tools, current state mapping and future state workflow development, content issue resolution, implementation, optimization, and end user support. Have a strong understanding of healthcare strategy, operations, and ability to adjust to changing needs. Manage relationships with department contacts, providing clinical subject matter expertise. The HCI will collaborate with Informatics team for general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.
