Heavy Assembler assembles fabricated parts to large or heavy subassemblies and completes units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Heavy Assembler conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components. Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment. Additionally, Heavy Assembler typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Heavy Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. JOB TITLE: CEA Assembler
REPORT TO: Manager, CEA
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
1. Assemble disposable devices in CEA environment.
2. Follow current SOP
3. Perform pass/fail testing of disposable devices.
4. Packaging and labeling of disposable devices.
5. Complete DHR documentation for disposable devices.
MARGINAL FUNCTION:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School degree or equivalent is required. At least 2 years of work experience in a
Clean Room Environment.
Payrate is $22 - $28 an hour based on experience.
