Being a Heavy Assembler conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components. Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment. Additionally, Heavy Assembler typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Heavy Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Mounting and dismounting tires
- Cleaning and painting tires and wheels
- Organizing inventory
- Disposing of tires
- Delivering Tires
- Maintaining the shop
Skills and Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Lifting up to 75lbs
- Ability to follow safety procedures
