Heavy Assembler assembles fabricated parts to large or heavy subassemblies and completes units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Being a Heavy Assembler conducts welding, riveting, and trimming of parts to fit or align components. Uses hand and power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other assembly equipment. Additionally, Heavy Assembler typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Heavy Assembler works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. This is opportunity to secure a position with a growing team at one of the world leaders in manufacturing of commercial lawn mowers.
HOURS: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm, plus Overtime on Friday
PAY RATE: $20.00 per hour
Briggs & Stratton offers the opportunity for overtime and also provides Paid Holidays after 90 days of employment!
As an assembler you will be responsible for production and assembly of finished goods.
