Monday- Friday 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM 

Saturday's 8:30AM - 11:30 AM

Position Summary for Equipment Operator / Yard Associate / General Labor:

The yard associate and/or general labor is part of a small tight knit team. They work closely with the mentally of all hands-on deck and a team mission to accomplish all work. We look for individuals who love working outside, working with their hands, have skid steer, hilo, front end loader, backhoe, excavator, bobcat experience, and some mechanical inclination.

Position Details for Yard Associate / General Labor / Equipment Operator: 

The Yard Associate interacts with customers while inspecting various grades of material upon delivery into the yard.  Sort and upgrade materials to meet quality standards per established protocols.  Operate small equipment as needed to process and prepare material prior to shipment.

• Sort, process and inventory material by operating shears, balers, loaders and forklifts.
• Assist with the purchasing various grades of material from customers.
• Assist customers with the unloading of their material.
• Assist with the packing and loading of material prior to shipment.
• Operate crane as necessary to provide overflow coverage.
• Draining fluids from cars 

 Qualifications for Equipment Operator / Yard Associate:

• Six months operating small equipment experience preferred (hilo or forklift) 
• Experience operating front end loader, bobcat, skid steer or excavator is useful but not required
• Safety first mindset
• Desire to grow within an organization and be part of a family
• Preventative maintenance knowledge and experience is useful, vehicle and machine repair
• Basic computer skills
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Accuracy in operation and attention to detail
• Knowledge in inventory control
