Duties:
- Operate and maintain a late model Ponsse Elephant forwarder.
- Perform the tasks of transporting logs from the woods and scheduling and loading logging trucks within an efficient time-frame daily.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with team members to operate efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar setting.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation techniques and safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Strong management skills.
