May be responsible for scheduling minor repairs and conducting routine maintenance like cleaning and lubricating. Additionally, Heavy Equipment Operator requires a high school diploma. Northwest Excavating, a local construction company, is hiring entry level to experienced heavy equipment operators for dozers, excavators, skid steer loaders and wheel loaders. Acceptable driving record to allow canidate to operate company vehicles required. CDL a plus. The individual should be self-motivated and willing to wear multiple hats on the job site.
Duties will include running dozers/excavators/skid steers/wheel loaders and other duties as necessary. Must safely and properly operate equipment and perform daily equipment and site safey inspections. Properly perform maintenance (lubricating, fueling and cleaning) on equipment. Communicate effectively, monitor and discuss problems with co-workers/managers/supervisors.
This is a long-term seasonal position with benefits available. Hourly rate of $28 - $32 depending on experience.
