Being a Heavy Equipment Operator identifies and addresses potential hazards and adheres to all safety protocols and regulations. May be responsible for scheduling minor repairs and conducting routine maintenance like cleaning and lubricating. Additionally, Heavy Equipment Operator requires a high school diploma. May require State License. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Heavy Equipment Operator independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. City Tele Coin is looking for an Heavy Equipment Operator that has experience operating a variety of pieces of equipment.
The candidates will be expected to maintain their own equipment, complete pre-operation checks, move dirt, rock, materials and equipment daily. Work will vary but will consistently be Monday - Friday, 7:00 am until 4:00 pm. Candidates will need to be able to operate any of the following equipment, straight trucks and trailers, tilt and gooseneck trailers, dozers, backhoes, skid steer, tractors, ect.
Location of work will vary but will be within the Shreveport/Bossier area.
The right candidate should highly motivate, prompt, able to process information quickly and adjust to changes quickly.
