This position is responsible for supporting IT operations. These functions include primary contact for service requests through multiple channels, managing inventory of products, point of contact for departmental purchases, and administration of the asset management system.
This is a full-time 40 per hour week position. Working hours are generally weekdays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Variations from these hours may be made based on the needs of the department.
Responsibilities include:
- Answers the tech support hotline.
- Adds equipment to the asset management system.
- Puts in support requests on behalf of staff.
- Resolves basic user issues via phone and service requests.
- Expedite requests when necessary.
- Runs reports on service desk operations.
- Orders and maintains receipts for credit card purchases.
- Manages equipment pars for standard inventory.
- Orders supplies for the department.
- Manages employee satisfaction survey results.
- Perform any and all tasks assigned.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; secondary education including software applications, hardware maintenance, organizational skills, previous experience in data-entry, software applications, inventory control and data reporting, ability to work in high stress situations preferred.
A South Dakota driver’s license is required.
