Help Desk Support, Sr. responds to end-user requests for technical assistance by phone, email, or ticketing system. Troubleshoots and resolves basic computer, application, system, device, access, or performance issues. Being a Help Desk Support, Sr. uses established processes and procedures to document, track, and resolve reported problems and to meet operational service levels and standards. Utilizes product information or solution database to research, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions. Additionally, Help Desk Support, Sr. advises users on the methods, steps, and actions to resolve and avoid future issues and provides documentation as needed. Escalates problems to appropriate levels or teams to achieve issue resolution. May support installs or upgrades of software or devices, set up user profiles, or re-set passwords. Fulfills all service level standards for response time and quality. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Help Desk Support, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.   • Corinth is looking for a Purchase Card Help Desk Support to join our team in support of our DHS customer. The qualified candidate should be able to perform Purchase Card Help Desk support, systems support, on-line/off-line data entry support, and clerical assistance as required to the department’s, Purchase Card Branch, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The qualified person will actively participate in communication between team members, clients, and Corinth so all may succeed and embody our Vision, Mission, and Values. Willingness to actively participate in work and team initiatives, while supporting team members with a professional and positive attitude will position the qualified person for success.

    Systems Support The qualified Systems and Help Desk Specialists shall provide the following Systems Support: 
    • Identification of problems with the card issuing bank's web-based system and Purchase Card System Answers the main phone for the procurement office, forward calls, take messages and provide information as requested. 
    • Informing the Task Manager of system errors; researching and analyzing information in the card issuing bank's system and Purchase Card System to validate accuracy of account set-up forms and maintenance actions; creating various reports from spreadsheet data in response to audit and program requests 
    • Analyzing daily reports of Purchase Card activity, and recording and updating data on a master spreadsheet to ensure that all systems are in balance. 
    • Assist cardholders and approving officials with the Purchase Card and create and maintain a master e-mail list of all participants in the Purchase Card program. Data Entry Support The qualified Systems and Help Desk Specialists shall provide the following Data Entry Support: 
    • Account setup and maintenance actions Knowledge of Excel, MSWord, and PowerPoint is necessary to create various reports, presentations, training certificates, correspondence, and other documents in support of the program. Skills involved include the ability to independently analyze and edit source documents.
    Clerical Support Ancillary clerical-type related tasks such as filing and coordination/mailing of training material are also required to support the Program. Contractor to distribute incoming mail, sign for packages and coordinate office supply requests.
    • Out-going personality, comfortable in open communication environment. 
    • A self-starter, able to learn quickly and willing to engage themselves. 
    • The ability to multi-task and manage multiple work streams simultaneously. 
    • An attention to detail
    Personnel shall be capable of making decisions and interfacing with the Government and public in a professional, business-like manner, including during stressful situations. Contractor personnel must be experienced in Help Desk support, complex key entry, and verification of data, checking accuracy, and maintenance of production logs and statistics. Contractor personnel must be capable of making decisions and interfacing with on-line systems. 

    Qualified candidates who are not able to pass the BI and security requirements will not be considered for the position.
