Help Desk Support, Sr. jobs in Richmond, VA

Help Desk Support, Sr. responds to end-user requests for technical assistance by phone, email, or ticketing system. Troubleshoots and resolves basic computer, application, system, device, access, or performance issues. Being a Help Desk Support, Sr. uses established processes and procedures to document, track, and resolve reported problems and to meet operational service levels and standards. Utilizes product information or solution database to research, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions. Additionally, Help Desk Support, Sr. advises users on the methods, steps, and actions to resolve and avoid future issues and provides documentation as needed. Escalates problems to appropriate levels or teams to achieve issue resolution. May support installs or upgrades of software or devices, set up user profiles, or re-set passwords. Fulfills all service level standards for response time and quality. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Help Desk Support, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     Provide IT technical support in the processes and workflows in the use of Encompass and nCino to end-users to various branches and assist as needed.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

     

    • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed on schedule and fully documented to defined standards.
    • Ability to quickly become knowledgeable on business processes and system workflows.
    • Complete assigned tasks and projects while continuing to provide help desk support to end-users.
    • Utilize technology, including but not limited to; Encompass and nCino, to improve efficiency and the borrower experience.
    • Maintain a positive and effective work environment.
    • Perform all other duties and projects assigned.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Preferences

     

    • Certifications in IT
    • Mortgage lending environment experience preferred (3-5 years of relevant experience of configuration and management of Encompass LOS and nCino)
    • Working knowledge and understanding of hardware and software technologies.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented and a team player.
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
    • Ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment.
