Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Yard Associate to join our team. As a Yard Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the yard, ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This is an entry level position – we are willing to train a candidate that has the desire to develop these skills while working outside year-round in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including material organization, equipment cleaning and maintenance, trash removal, and

- Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to load and unload materials

- Manually lift, stack, load, and unload materials safely

- Communicate with customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management

- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment

- Provide exceptional customer service and assist with customer inquiries and requests

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred, but not required

- Forklift certification preferred, but not required

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

- Capable of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)

- Ability to speak or learn Spanish a plus
