Position Overview:
In the role of landscape concrete mason, expertise in all aspects of concrete work for outdoor projects is crucial. Whether it's constructing sturdy retaining walls or laying down sleek interlocking pavers, our focus is on quality and craftsmanship. We specialize in building outdoor living spaces that captivate, adding that extra flair with hardscaping.
Furthermore, this position requires the ability to read plans and communicate and collaborate effectively with co-workers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution. The primary goal is to transform outdoor spaces into both functional and visually stunning areas.
Responsibilities:
- Building outdoor living spaces including concrete flatwork, interlocking pavers, retaining walls, and outdoor kitchens.
- Taking the lead on projects, instructing and training crew members on task completion.
- Maintaining quality control on projects.
- Offering assistance and effective time management in other areas of the company.
- Becoming a reliable resource for hardscape installations.
- Keeping vehicles, machinery, and tools in good repair and working order.
- Meeting department task expectations.
- Continuously improving knowledge, education, and industry awareness.
Requirements:
- 2 years of landscape/Hardscape installation experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- US work authorization.
- Ability to read, understand, and write English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Good knowledge of hardscapes and working knowledge of equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
- Ability to complete tasks as outlined in the job description and participate in other activities as necessary.
- Subject to drug screening and background investigation.
- 18 years of age or older
Physical Demands Required
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk continuously through shift.
- Ability to crouch, kneel, bend, or stand freely.
- Be subject to some machine or motor noise (ear protection will be provided).
Other:
- Average 40 hours per week, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays required based on client needs and weather conditions.
- Good attendance record and proficient communication skills with clients and colleagues.
- Logical and technical reasoning skills are essential for this role.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
