Job Title: Bike Patrol Safety Officer

Job Description:

The Bonita Bay Community Patrol is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Bike Patrol Safety Officer. As a Bike Patrol Safety Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling our community on a bicycle to ensure the safety and security of our residents, visitors, and property.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the community on a bicycle to ensure the safety and security of all residents and visitors
• Support Community Patrol with Kayak Loan program.
• Respond promptly to any safety or security incidents, and report them to the appropriate authorities
• Monitor and enforce community rules and regulations, including parking, noise, and other violations
• Provide assistance and support to residents and visitors as needed
• Build positive relationships with residents, visitors, and local law enforcement agencies
• Document all incidents and activities in a detailed and accurate manner
• Conduct safety inspections of common areas and facilities, including playgrounds, swimming pools, and other recreational areas
• Attend regular safety training sessions and stay up-to-date on all safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a bicycle safely and effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or a related field is preferred
