Highway Patrol patrols assigned geographic area and makes note of unusual or suspicious events. Resolves disputes and enforces traffic laws. Being a Highway Patrol may require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Must meet physical and personal requirements. Additionally, Highway Patrol has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Unique Opportunity to either learn or strengthen private/executive protection skills in an environment only few have on the East Coast. Help Patrol over 11 miles of private roadways and residences, help enforce rules and regulations regarding access, parking and other situations. Be prepared to assist in emergency situations. CPR/AED training is a plus. Executive/Driving training is also a plus.
Must be detail oriented, professional appearance and demeanor as well as ability to interact with the public, residents and visitors in a courteous manner. Ability to de escalate and handle stressful situations.
These positions will assist the Protection team in all areas and can be considered entry level and focuses on access control, patrol, public safety, and other security responsibilities. An experienced professional can practice and strengthen skills while performing duties and anyone learning/entry level will be exposed to team operations and techniques. Opportunities for various assignments may be available for the right person(s) working these positions.
