The individual selected for this position will Assemble Microwave Modules on the production line in the TACAIR Microwave Factory on a variety of products including DEWS / QATAR, EPAWSS, and 56C.

• As a Microwave Technician on First Shift you will make impacts in the following ways;
• Fabricate and / or modifies complex micro-integrated circuit modules or microwave / RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies by following specific instructions, such as for wire and ribbon bonding utilizing various manual and automatic bonding machines or using an MRSI microwave component automated pick and place machine.
• Fabricate and / or modify complex microwave / RF integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and / or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High School Diploma and 2 years work experience or equivalent.
• Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
• Must be familiar with substrate attach (duroid / ceramic), MMICs, IC's, caps, diodes and resistors, soldering skills and eutectic die attach.
• Experience with lamination presses, bladder bag ovens and sheet epoxies (mainly with the focus of attaching substrates to modules / housings).

Must be familiar with working with a wide variety of adhesives and epoxy's.

• Able to work with a microscope for an entire shift.
• Familiar with MIL-STD-883 and working with bonding complex microwave modules

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

1 Year Microwave Manufacturing Assembly experience in addition to the required skills, experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range : $46090 - $73700

Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
