We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices and be proficient Sage 50.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bank and GL reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data with statements
• Utilize Sage 50 software for bookkeeping tasks
• Manage monthly/quarterly state sales tax preparation and reporting activities
• Handle debits and credits accurately to maintain financial records
• Apply technical accounting principles to financial transactions
• Prepare vendor payments (Check/ACH)
• Deposit/enter customer payments
• Review new customer applications
• General office work - answer phone/file papers

Experience:

• Proven experience in general ledger reconciliation and financial reporting
• Knowledge of Sage software for bookkeeping tasks
• Familiarity with tax preparation and reporting requirements
• Understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles
• Experience in technical accounting practices is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
