Being a Hoist and Winch Operator may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Hoist and Winch Operator relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The successful candidate will provide a high level of safe skillful hoist operations for the different hoists at Turquoise Ridge. The successful candidate will also ensure that equipment, materials, and people are transported in and out of the mine in accordance with all regulations and assure that safety and environmental policies are met. Employees must also follow company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
