Home Care Aide Coordinator schedules workforce needs of Home Care Aides. Tracks aide services and collects and maintains time reports. Being a Home Care Aide Coordinator typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Responsibilities:
- Accompany seniors to the grocery store, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping & organization
- Meal preparation
- Transportation (appointments or grocery shopping)
- Personal care
- Companionship
- Open Communication
- Private Duty Nursing (if CNA is delegated)
Caregiver Requirements:
- CNA or HCA license, OR enrolling in classes to become a CNA or HCA within 120 days of hire (per Washington state law)
- Valid Driver's License, automobile insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record
- Submit to Pre-Employment Drug Screening
