Home Care Aide provides household management activities to enable patients in independence at home. Assists patient with self-administered medications and emotional supports. A Physicians Home Care (APHC) is a locally owned business in Colorado Springs that was started by the family of a Special Needs child who is now an adult. We were founded in 2017 in hopes of being able to provide the best possible care to those who need in-home assistance. We have had the pleasure to help over 600 families and are licensed by the state of Colorado to provide In Home Support Services (IHSS) as well as Accredited by the state and ACHC to provide CNA, Skilled Nursing, and Therapy Services.
We are looking for a dedicated home health aide to join our team to provide compassionate and quality care to a pediatric client.
Job Type: Part-time (may be some flexibility)
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, flexible hours. This position is for 14 hrs a week, that can be discussed further at the time of the interview.
Pay: $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities
· Provide services that are ordered in the plan of care and that the aide is permitted to perform.
· Performs stand-by assistance with activities of daily living.
· Provided stand- by assistance with transfers and mobility.
· Provided protective oversight.
· Understands and adheres to established Agency policies and procedures.
· Completes appropriate visit records in a timely manner as per Agency policy.
· Reports changes in the Client's condition and needs to the appropriate personnel.
· Attends in-service and continuing education programs as scheduled and necessary.
· Carries out, reports and documents care given in an effective, timely manner as observed by the agency and through periodic record reviews.
· Completes all work assigned by the Agency.
· Observes confidentiality and safeguards all Client related information.
· Reports any variance, accident, or unusual occurrence to the appropriate personnel.
· Maintains acceptable attendance status, per Agency policy.
· Appearance is always within Agency standard; is clean and well groomed.
· Demonstrates effective time management skills through showing up to shifts on time and daily documentation.
· Maintains clean and neat work environment.
· Demonstrates sound judgment and decision making.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Work positively in a team environment and favorably with patients, families, and staff.
· 1 year Caregiving experience preferred.
· 1 year experience with Autism.
· Computer skills and ability to operate and use agency’s clinical software program.
· Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be well organized and demonstrate the ability to prioritize job demand.
