What You Will Do:
You will be responsible for providing courteous care by helping individuals with their iADLS or ADLS. Work tasks may include:

• Light housekeeping tasks (i.e. sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundering clothes or linen, making beds, cleaning client's bedroom, kitchen, living area, or bathroom)
• Preparing and cooking nutritious meals
• Providing assistance with personal care tasks such as showering, oral hygiene, ambulation, transferring, grooming, skin care, dressing, and toileting
• Providing companionship, emotional support
• Medication reminders
• Transportation for errands and appointments

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age if providing personal care
• Must pass a mandatory background check- fieldprint and ecrim
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• History of 2-Step TB results and annual TB Clearance
• 2-Step TB results, if not taken before
• Have a positive attitude and empathy
• Must own reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license and provide automobile insurance coverage that meet or exceeds company’s standards
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and written and communication skills
• CNA positions or home care aide providing personal care- At least 6 months to one year caregiving experience preferred, but if you have none, we are willing to train people new and suitable candidates to the field that they are interested in.
• Home care aides providing companion and homemaker services- No certifications or experience necessary, just a passion for caring for seniors is required.
• Must enjoy the senior population

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 40 per week
