What we look for in our LPN/ Direct Support Professionals:
· Assist individuals with disabilities with their daily living and independence skills / personal care (may include assistance with grooming, bathing, feeding)
· Utilize curated plans to assess an individual's needs
· Accompany individuals to and from appointments and activities
· Foster a meaningful and empathetic relationship between the individuals and their community
The IDEAL candidate will:
· Is a licensed LPN in the state of New Jersey or an experienced DSP with EMT certification
· Be 18 years of age or older (required)
· Have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
· Have a valid driver's license
· Experience with the developmentally disabled or as a caretaker is preferred but not required
· Be empathetic and have a team approach to care for our individuals
· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Be energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor
· Have a high level of comfort with hands on domestic care (cleaning, washing, assisting with hygiene care)
· Must be CPR Adult & First Aid certified or willing to get certified ASAP
Compensation:
Entry-level positions start at $23.00 to $27.00 per hour. Increases strictly based on experience.
