Home Care Aide provides household management activities to enable patients in independence at home. Assists patient with self-administered medications and emotional supports. Being a Home Care Aide typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. Additionally, Home Care Aide may require CPR certified. The Home Care Aide possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. What you’ll be doing:- Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
- Provide assistance with personal care.
- Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
- Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
- Properly manage household needs.
- Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
What we’re looking for:- A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
- Not have a substantiated finding on the North Carolina Health Care Personnel Registry in accordance with G.S. 131E-256(a)(1)
- Be entered in good standing on the State Nurse Aide registry
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- A North Carolina Nurse Aide (NA II) certification required.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Previous experience as a Caregiver in homes or senior communities is a bonus.
