The Director of Practice Operations is a dynamic leader responsible for driving the culture of Women’s Care and aligning the organizational strategy with unit operations. The DPO is accountable for the clinical, operational, and financial performance of the physician practice (multi-provider/multi-location). They directly supervise clinical and patient relations management. The DPO works closely with physicians and division leadership to implement innovative practice growth and quality solutions improving patient outcomes and satisfaction. This position has oversight of 6 locations in Ruskin, Tampa, Brandon, and Lutz.

• Evaluates practice operations and designs opportunities for improvement ensuring efficient and effective workflows; develops and implements action plans to promote successful achievement of budget and KPI metrics.
• Develops unit growth strategies to align with the expectations of a high-volume practice; prepares pro formas and business cases to support satellite operations or new lines of business.
• Completes all new equipment purchase ROI/pro forma and capital request forms.
• Analyzes patient survey data, shares the results with providers and staff, responds timely to patient inquiries and complaints, and creates patient engagement strategies based on the results.
• Partners with Talent Acquisition and Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to hire and retain top talent individuals in all practice positions.
• Participates in required meetings/teams and communicates updates and changes to physicians and team.
• Responsible for ensuring all fiscal policies and processes are adhered to; personally oversees all practice expenditures.
• Responsible for all revenue cycle processes performed within the practice such as charge capture, clinical documentation, prior authorization and benefits eligibility.
• Reviews and discusses monthly income statements and PCR’s with provider team.
• Coordinates all facility lease renewals with RDO.
• Ensures all charges are entered daily and cash is reconciled and balanced with the system and bank deposits.
• Demonstrates and embody the Women’s Care mission and core values.
• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business management; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in practice or healthcare management, preferably OBGYN.
• Experience developing strong physician relationships and ability to lead others in initiatives aimed at strengthening patient and physician experience, integrating and optimizing services and developing a motivated, high-performing team.
• Demonstrated knowledge of physician group operational and financial performance; revenue generation, cost control, productivity enhancements and patient satisfaction.
• Strategic and tactical skills, including data/metric analysis, action planning, decision support, and operations.
• Demonstrated ability to identify trends and act upon opportunities gained from insights.
• Ability to think critically, solve complex challenges and productively manage conflict.
• Experience and comfort working in a matrixed organization with shared services and resources.
• Must possess dynamic skills in organizational standardization and transformation.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead and manage a team of clinical and non-clinical associates.
• Demonstrated dedication to the mission, vision, values and goals of the organization.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
