Horse Rider/Exerciser jobs in Columbus, MS

The position of weekend horse caretaker consists of only working weekends, rain or shine. Our work day is from 7a-4p and the rate of pay is $12 an hour. The caretaker will be responsible for feeding of the horses and barn animals (pig, and a couple of cats). This position is for someone who loves animals unconditionally, and will pay attention to the behavior and needs of each animal identifying if they need medical attention by notifying the management. Scooping, mucking stalls, throwing hay, loading hay, scooping the pasture, brushing the horses, checking their hooves. If you've worked with horses, you know this isn't a glorious job but it's very rewarding. Please don't apply if you just want a paycheck.
