The Duzan Riding Academy is currently looking for detail-oriented, hardworking, reliable, responsible, and horse-loving individuals to join our team! Training may be provided to the right candidate. The horses are pleasant to work around and the clients are friendly.

Looking for a stable hand/ feeder for weekday (Mondays - Fridays) morning and afternoon feed and barn chores. 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Can be split into part-time positions for the right candidate (s).

Tasks may include, but may not be limited to:

• Morning Feeds (turning out and bringing in horses, hay, grain, watering)
• Blanket changes as needed
• Clean stalls as needed
• Misc Barn Chores
• Observing horses for signs of illness, lameness, or injury
• Clean and maintain facilities

All applicants must:

• Must have at least three (3) years of prior horse care experience, including feeding, handling horses of all sizes, minor medical care, bandaging of legs, etc.
• Must be able to handle and help care for 32 horses
• Be 18 years or older
• Must have a dependable mode of transportation
• Must be able to manage time and be adaptable
• Must be able to lift 25 - 50lbs on a regular basis
• Have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and provide manual labor as needed
• Must be able to take direction as necessary

Must be eligible to work in the US. No live-in accommodations are available. This position is at an Equine Facility.

Employees must work in all temperatures and weather conditions. The environment is dusty. A heated/ air-conditioned break room and lavatories are provided. The Duzan Riding Academy is a drug-fee and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
