Position Overview: As a server at Iron Horse Bar and Grill, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and enthusiasm will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience that keeps our patrons coming back. You'll be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a positive first impression.
• Present menus, provide recommendations, and answer questions regarding menu items.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar promptly.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and quality in presentation.
• Monitor guest needs and promptly respond to any additional requests or special requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting and resetting tables.
• Handle guest payments, process transactions accurately, and return change or receipts as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless communication and smooth service flow.
• Uphold health and safety standards, following proper food handling and sanitation guidelines.
• Engage with guests, address any concerns or complaints, and escalate to management if necessary.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the capability to multitask efficiently.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods.
• Knowledge of food and beverage offerings is a plus.
