Experienced, compassionate, live-in horse care with an option for extra, seasonal help in our cut-flower operation. Windflower Farm has a small horse-boarding facility and gardens of organic flowers, vegetables, fruit, and herbs. Chores include 5 days/week AM and PM turnout, feeding, and stall and paddock cleaning for a small herd of 4-6 horses. This is a perfect gig for a person with an additional part or full-time remote job who loves country living. A newly-constructed, clean and bright, furnished 1-bedroom cabin is available on the farm in Alfalfa, 15 miles east of Bend. The cabin has views of the flower farm and there are extensive horseback riding, hiking, and bicycling trails right down the road in the BLM, Reynolds Pond, and Badlands Wilderness. Rent includes all utilities - electricity, Wifi, water, garbage and sewer. No Smoking. Board for one horse is negotiable. Excellent references are a must.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
