Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and coordinating the repair and maintenance services for our clients' vehicles. Your role will involve interacting with customers, documenting vehicle issues, and ensuring that repairs are completed in a timely manner. Responsibilities: - Greet customers and provide them with a positive service experience - Listen to customers' concerns and document their vehicle issues accurately - Communicate with technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repair of vehicles - Provide estimates for repairs and obtain customer approval - Schedule appointments and manage the workflow of the service department - Coordinate with parts department to ensure availability of necessary parts - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repairs, and invoices - Process payments and handle cash transactions - Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with completed repairs Skills: - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems - Proficient in diagnosing and estimating repair costs for various vehicle issues - Ability to align, transmit, perform oil changes, tire services, shocks/struts replacements, brake repairs, etc. - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Proficient in using computer software for documenting repairs and generating invoices Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated. Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,803.00 per year
