Hospice Supervisor jobs in Pittsburgh, PA

Good Samaritan Hospice, an entity of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, is seeking a Clinical Supervisor, RN for a full time position which will report into our Administrative office in Valencia, PA.

The Hospice Clinical Supervisor is a licensed Registered Nurse responsible for overseeing day to day patient care by assisting patients, caregivers/families, Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) members and health care providers involved in patient care. The Clinical Supervisor, RN is a supervisory role to ensure patient care is coordinated and managed efficiently and with the highest quality in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

The Clinical Supervisor RN position works Monday through Friday with a weekend rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS for Clinical Supervisor Registered Nurse

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Two (2) years hospice experience preferred
• Possesses strong assessment, problem solving and decision making skills
• Solid computer skills, including Word, Excel and electronic medical record (EMR) programs
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Must be able to identify and anticipate patient and family needs
