Hospice Supervisor manages the resources, operations, and staff of hospice care programs. Works with families and patients to develop optimal care plans. Being a Hospice Supervisor coordinates the delivery of a patient/family assessment process and care plan development. Oversees interdisciplinary teams of medical doctors, nursing staff, and other care providers inside and outside the facility. Additionally, Hospice Supervisor maintains an up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations of federal, state, and regulatory bodies relative to hospice care. May require a bachelor's degree in nursing, social work or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Hospice Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Hospice Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are looking for a high-energy, compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to be a Hospice Case Manager for our patients. Our Hospice RN Case Managers plan, organize, and direct hospice care utilizing the nursing process of assessment planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interact with patients, caregivers, families, and other interdisciplinary team members whiles maintaining standards of professional nursing and clinical competency.     Qualifications

    • Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse.
    • Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting. Hospice exp a plus!
    • Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including background in EMR.
    • Possess and maintains current CPR certification.
