Full Time Hospice Nurse- Independence, Ia

Cedar Valley Hospice is the premier hospice agency serving 15 counties with offices in Waterloo, Grundy Center, Independence and Waverly. We are currently seeking a highly qualified, compassionate RN to join our well-respected team in Independence, Ia.

At Cedar Valley Hospice you will work with the best clinicians, nurses and management team, learning highly regarded practices to achieve optimum outcomes for our patients and their families.

The highest qualified candidate’s hours would be Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm and will be included as part of the on-call rotation. Candidate must have current RN licensure and current Iowa driver’s license with a reliable vehicle. Candidate also must be willing to travel to any Cedar Valley Hospice location and provide expert care according to our organizational standards.

Two years of RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications
1. Current Iowa state license as an RN required. Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
2. Two years recent experience as a nurse in related field preferred; one year experience in hospice or home care nursing preferred.
3. Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills required.
4. Current Iowa driver's license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance required.
5. Experience working in a team environment preferred.
6. Basic computer skills with the ability to learn work-related software required.
