Hospice Supervisor manages the resources, operations, and staff of hospice care programs. Works with families and patients to develop optimal care plans. Being a Hospice Supervisor coordinates the delivery of a patient/family assessment process and care plan development. Oversees interdisciplinary teams of medical doctors, nursing staff, and other care providers inside and outside the facility. Additionally, Hospice Supervisor maintains an up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations of federal, state, and regulatory bodies relative to hospice care. May require a bachelor's degree in nursing, social work or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Hospice Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Hospice Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Hospice Account Executive covering our services areas in the VA Counties of Carroll, Grayson, Floyd and Pulaski. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, facilities, and community partners to drive referrals and promote the benefits of our hospice services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Relationship Building:
    Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, hospital discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and other decision-makers.
    Referral Management: Manage referral network by establishing relationships with healthcare providers, physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and other referral sources to generate growth opportunities.
    Educational Outreach: Deliver compelling educational presentations that highlight the value and benefits of our hospice services, demonstrating how we can meet the unique needs of patients and their families.
    Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless transitions for patients and provide ongoing support to referral sources.
    Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of growth activities, including referral interactions, development calls, and progress reports.
    Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.


    Qualifications:

    • Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Services or a related field.
    • Proven experience in healthcare sales, with a focus on hospice or related services.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
    • Knowledge of hospice regulations and healthcare industry trends is a plus.
    • Ability to travel within the designated territory.
