    We are currently recruiting for a Store Manager to join our Starbucks team!
    This position contributes to the company success by leading the team to create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our local patrons and hotel guests. The store manager is required to regularly and customarily exercise discretion in managing the overall operation of the store. In particular, a majority of time is spent supervising and directing the workforce, making staffing decisions (i.e., hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, discharging, staffing and scheduling), ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, managing financial performance, and managing safety and security within the store.
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Other duties may be assigned)
    • Setting goals for the team, developing organizational capability, and providing leadership.
    • Listens and communicates well with others within and outside of Starbucks.
    • Creates a team environment that is positive and productive.
    • Takes personal responsibility to do the right thing, and persists in times of challenge or uncertainty. Adapts quickly to change and makes timely, thoughtful decisions.
    • Demonstrates a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events and manages smooth transitions thereafter to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team.
    • Displays a customer comes first attitude by training and holding Team Members accountable for
    • delivering legendary customer service.
    • Drives the implementation of company programs by developing action plans and directly motivating and instructing the team to implement them to meet operational and organizational objectives.

    • Plans, identifies, communicates, and delegates appropriate responsibilities and practices to store Team Members to ensure smooth flow of operations.
    • Provides coaching and direction to the team to take action and to achieve operational goals. Constantly reviews work environment and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, providing eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the Starbucks areas; anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
    • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of the company.
    • Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
    • Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs.
    • Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all Team Members during each shift.
    • Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that Team Members can locate resources and product as needed.
    • Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
    • Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
    • Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
    • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays

    QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

    • Prior Food and Beverage, Coffee/Barista, Restaurant experience preferred.
