Hotel Manager Assistant is responsible for supporting the Hotel Manager with daily hotel operations and services. Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, responds to complaints, and ensures hotel profitability. Being a Hotel Manager Assistant tends to all facets of hotel operations in the absence of the Hotel Manager. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Hotel Manager Assistant typically reports to a manager. The Hotel Manager Assistant manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Hotel Manager Assistant typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Assist with managing hotel staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk, to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with revenue management strategies to maximize profitability and achieve financial goals.
- Support human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning to optimize resources and control costs.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and industry trends.
- Demonstrate leadership skills by providing guidance and support to the hotel team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hotel industry or related field is preferred.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with human resources processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
