Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, responds to complaints, and ensures hotel profitability. Being a Hotel Manager Assistant tends to all facets of hotel operations in the absence of the Hotel Manager. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Hotel Manager Assistant typically reports to a manager. The Hotel Manager Assistant manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Hotel Manager Assistant typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Position Summary: The Assistant General Manager is the second in command of the hotel. The AGM assist the GM in managing all operations of the hotel in accordance with brand standards and corporate values to achieve a friendly and professional atmosphere. Responsible for monitoring and answering all Social Media reports, The AGM is in charge of the hotel in the absence of the GM. He/she takes the leadership role in insuring the values of Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excitement is in place at all times.
