Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, responds to complaints, and ensures hotel profitability. Being a Hotel Manager Assistant tends to all facets of hotel operations in the absence of the Hotel Manager. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Hotel Manager Assistant typically reports to a manager. The Hotel Manager Assistant manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. They are to ensure each front office personnel are following the standard operating procedures for their position and facilitates/enforces training where needed. The Front Office Assistant Manager is also to reinforce excellent customer service and satisfaction by handling customer concerns or issues as they arise. The Front Office Assistant Manager assists the Front Office Manager with additional administrative responsibilities as they are assigned.
