Job Summary for Housekeeping Manager
Manage the operation of the housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure a clean, comfortable, and appealing environment for our staff and guests. Promote an atmosphere of cleanliness and superior guest service for hotel guests. As an Executive Housekeeper, you would be responsible for managing daily housekeeping operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following requirements to the highest standards.
Job Requirements for Housekeeping Manager
Direct all activities of the housekeeping and laundry departments in furnishing daily service to guest rooms and public areas.
· Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and direct housekeeping department personnel to uphold Hilton Brand Standards.
· Prepare daily & weekly work schedules for Housekeeping Staff.
· Inspect premises, guest rooms, linen rooms, and public areas to assure employees maintain the property's superior standards of Housekeeping.
· Maintain an inventory of guest supplies, housekeeping supplies, and linen/terry. Ordering replacement of supplies and equipment as needed.
· Maintain Hilton CleanStay standards focusing on our guest satisfaction
· Coordinate staff training, including MSDS, OSHA, and safety policies.
· Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/ Property Operations to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms and public areas
· Monitor payroll reports, work schedules, lost and found program, stock rooms and carts and designated inventories
Compensation Range Annual Salary of $62,500.00
