Hotel Manager Assistant is responsible for supporting the Hotel Manager with daily hotel operations and services. Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, responds to complaints, and ensures hotel profitability. Being a Hotel Manager Assistant tends to all facets of hotel operations in the absence of the Hotel Manager. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Hotel Manager Assistant typically reports to a manager. The Hotel Manager Assistant manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Hotel Manager Assistant typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and other designated areas of the hotel
- Change bed linens, replenish towels and amenities, and restock supplies as needed
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests
Skills:
- Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of rooms and common areas
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques for effective cleaning
