Hotel Manager Assistant is responsible for supporting the Hotel Manager with daily hotel operations and services. Responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, responds to complaints, and ensures hotel profitability. Being a Hotel Manager Assistant tends to all facets of hotel operations in the absence of the Hotel Manager. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Hotel Manager Assistant typically reports to a manager. The Hotel Manager Assistant manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Hotel Manager Assistant typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. In return you will be given opportunities to grow and advance in your career.Primary Responsibilities• Prepare or direct preparation of food served using established production procedures• Determine amount and type of food and supplies required using production systems• Ensure availability of supplies and food or approved substitutions in adequate time for preparation• Learn menus, recipes, preparation, and presentation.• Set steam table; serve or ensure proper serving of food for tray line or dining room• Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards.
