The award-winning Hotel Leavenworth in the heart of picturesque Leavenworth, Washington is hiring a new General Manager! We are looking for a super organized and friendly person to lead our team. The hands-on role is perfect for someone who is looking to run a small boutique hotel, and is willing to take on a lot of responsibility. · The Boutique Hotel Manager position is all about team support and customer service.

· The general manager is responsible for a very broad array of activities that are required to make sure that our 16-room hotel runs smoothly

· Core responsibilities include: 1) The support and management of the innkeeper and housekeeping staff; 2) Front desk customer service; 3) Back-Office administrative work; 4) Special projects; 5) Overnight on call support for guest emergencies and building maintenance issues during non-business hours; and 6) Anything else that is required to make sure that the hotel is running smoothly and we are creating a great guest and employee experience

· You would get plenty of training and support from the hotel owner and team

· We offer a competitive salary, and two-weeks of paid vacation.

Position will be open in early May.

Qualifications:

· Comfortable working in a “start-up” environment and able to help “iron out the kinks” as we continuously improve our operations

· Reliable, self-starter

· Ability to work independently and manage the staff

· Prior management experience

· Great attitude

· Excellent people skills and desire to deliver outstanding customer service

· Attention to detail and proven problem-solving abilities

· Excellent customer service skills - Genuinely enjoy working with our valued guests and other staff

· Dependable with a good work history and references

· Ability to be flexible and adaptable, and to maintain composure in difficult situations

· Good with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

· Basic maintenance skills required

- College degree preferred
