Hotel Manager manages all aspects of the hotel property including operations, staffing, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for maximizing operational efficiency and profitability. Being a Hotel Manager monitors all operating costs, budgets, and forecasts. Oversees property maintenance and appearances. Additionally, Hotel Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Hotel Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Hotel Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Housekeeping duties:
- Fully cleans each guestroom to Hilton Standards
- Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
- Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of his/her work area (housekeeping carts, housekeeping closets)
- Responsible for following the standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score.
- Must come to work on time and have open availability
