Hotel Manager manages all aspects of the hotel property including operations, staffing, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for maximizing operational efficiency and profitability. Being a Hotel Manager monitors all operating costs, budgets, and forecasts. Oversees property maintenance and appearances. Additionally, Hotel Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Hotel Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Hotel Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. The Cobblestone Hotel & Suites Soda Springs, ID is looking for a skilled maintenance technician to join our friendly team! The Maintenance Technician ensures that guests are provided with a safe and well-maintained property by maintaining and making repairs to the physical structures of the building and maintaining grounds by performing various duties. Some job functions include, but are not limited to routine and preventative maintenance of guest rooms, Swimming pool & spa service, public and exterior spaces, and an inspection of equipment, and working with and maintaining professional relationships with our vendors.
Preferred qualifications include previous experience in the hospitality industry, Pool and Spa Certification (CPO), and possible plumbing/HVAC experience. This position is 24-32 hours a week, with some possible on-call hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
