Being a Hotel Manager monitors all operating costs, budgets, and forecasts. Oversees property maintenance and appearances. Additionally, Hotel Manager may require a bachelor's degree. The starting rate of pay is $55-65k/year with the opportunity to increase depending on availability for overtime and a pay increase of $1/hour every 3-4 months.
ABOUT THE MANAGEMENT IN TRAINING PROGRAM
The MIT program is a 12-month rotational program with hands-on experience and in-depth exposure to hotel operations. Trainees will work in all positions throughout the Front Office and Housekeeping Departments. They will also have the opportunity to apply and be considered for a concentration in Human Resources and/or Accounting. This experience will assist in a comprehensive understanding of how hotels operate while developing supervisory and management skills.
