Hotel Manager manages all aspects of the hotel property including operations, staffing, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for maximizing operational efficiency and profitability. Being a Hotel Manager monitors all operating costs, budgets, and forecasts. Oversees property maintenance and appearances. Additionally, Hotel Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Hotel Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Hotel Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Full Job Description
Responsibilities and Qualifications
-Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.
-Routinely book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.
-Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.
-Ensure proper delivery of guest's special requests (i.e. extra pillows, additional preferences)
-Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Make every appropriate service recovery gesture in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.
-Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, and counting/securing assigned bank.
-Must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented, and problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external guests.
-Must be able to maintain composure and objectivity while under pressure.
-Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments.
-Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel lobby and common areas.
-Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: From $12.00 - $15.00 per hour depending on the shift.
