Hotel Manager manages all aspects of the hotel property including operations, staffing, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for maximizing operational efficiency and profitability. Being a Hotel Manager monitors all operating costs, budgets, and forecasts. Oversees property maintenance and appearances. Additionally, Hotel Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Hotel Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     Essential Responsibilities:

    • Lead, train, and mentor staff, including hiring, recruiting, and coaching development
    • Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
    • Actively participate in hotel sales efforts
    • Collaborate on property budget and expense plans
    • Maintain positive rapport with guests and team members
    • Uphold OHM and brand standards and guidelines
    • Liaise with local organizations and represent the company within the community
    • Ensure compliance with operational standards and regulations
    • Perform administrative duties accurately and in accordance with company policies
    • Oversee services of vendors, contractors, and suppliers

    Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
    • Pleasant and polite demeanor with a neat appearance
    • Ability to motivate team members and handle pressure effectively
    • Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities
    • Sound knowledge of hotel operations and services offered
    • Comfortable with high visibility and leadership roles

    Education & Experience:

    • Comprehensive hospitality experience required
    • Minimum 3 years relevant hotel experience in operations preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred
    • Current driver’s license required

    Hours:

    • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

    Physical Requirements:

    • Minimum lifting capacity of 50 pounds
    • Ability to bend, lift items overhead, and transport food products
    • May be required to lift in excess of 50 pounds on occasion
