Job Summary

Responsible for providing Resident Care leadership within our Resident Care department. Works closely with our Executive Director to ensure services offered to meet or exceed federal, state, and local standards.

Some responsibilities include:

• Assessments and care planning for all residents ensuring that the needs and services of the resident are met.
• Coordinating and managing all nursing and resident care services;
• Supervising nurses and resident care staff in the delivery of care services and assistance with activities of daily living;
• Compiling nursing charts and binders in accordance to AHCA standards;
• Participating in direct service staff recruitment, selection, orientation and in-service education;
• Provide ongoing coaching/mentoring of assigned care staff;
• You are expected to have an active role in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members and professionals.
• Ensure high performance, integrity and adherence to facility standards, goals and objectives.

Individual must be organized, self-starter and have a passion for caring for seniors.

Candidate must have 3 years’ experience in assisted living/memory care setting.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Must be aware of and understand the needs of the elderly. Must be able to recognize unusual behavior or physical condition of residents. Must be thoroughly familiar with all company policies procedures. Must be familiar with current licensure rules and regulations governing the assigned communities. Must be able to communicate effectively in writing as well as verbally. Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret Resident Care goals, objectives, policies and procedures, as well as those of the company and assigned communities. Ability to interact effectively with residents, their families, other staff members and guests. Ability to train staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
